Air Liquide: growth confirmed in Industrial Merchant divisio

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Air Liquide announced that it had signed a "record" number of 52 new contracts for on-site gas production in the industrial merchant business line in 2022.


These contracts concern the supply of nitrogen, oxygen or hydrogen to customers in growth markets such as glass, metals, water and waste treatment and electronics.

The group - which signed 48 new contracts in 2021 - says that it has benefited from steady growth in this domain for a few years.

The number of long-term contracts related to on-site installations signed each year by Air Liquide has thus doubled between 2015 and 2022.

2021 sales reached nearly 9.5 billion euros.
