Air Liquide: wants to cut carbon intensity by 30%
(CercleFinance.com) - As part of a global approach to climate, Air Liquide boasts the most ambitious aims of its sector, pledging to reduce its carbon intensity by 30% by 2025, based on 2015 emissions.
Reaching this target could be based on an increase of nearly 70% in renewable electricity purchases, an improvement in the energy efficiency of production facilities and a 10% reduction in the carbon footprint of its products.
The group is also committed to a sustainable industry through low-carbon solutions, “continuously innovating and developing new solutions, such as CO2 capture and usage, or the development of new materials for Electronics.”
