Assystem: acquires Mactech Energy Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Assystem announces the acquisition of Mactech Energy Group (Mactech), a British company specialising in construction services for the nuclear industry.
The company had sales of around £16m in 2024.

The acquisition represents an investment to develop a long-term dedicated workforce for the UK nuclear industry in anticipation of the planned construction of new nuclear power stations generating up to 24 GW in the coming decades.

Mactech brings an unrivalled network of skilled resources based in the UK. This expertise will enable Assystem to strengthen its capabilities in the construction phases of projects in the fields of new nuclear power, decommissioning and defense, it says.
