Safran: provides passenger protection equipment

(CercleFinance.com) - Safran announces the launch of new seating equipment on the market, to improve passenger comfort and protection.


With its partner Universal Movement, Safran Seats offers Interspace equipment that provides greater comfort for passengers in Premium Economy class.

Safran Seats and Universal Movement are also working on an adaptation of the product, called Interspace Lite. This enables airlines to easily reset their cabins in economy class, by defining the space between passengers, offering them more privacy by locking the central or outer seats in a row.

The group said that Safran Seats has developed Travel Safe by Safran Seats, a wide range of patented solutions based on three specific objectives: social distancing without loss of density, contactless interaction and virus-free surfaces. In order to respect social distancing, Travel Safe is equipped with features such as Ringfence, a removable partition that isolates passengers from their neighbours.
