Bonduelle: FY 2018-19 sales flat

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Bonduelle reported a flat FY 2018-19 sales of 2.
8 billion euros, with a "fragile" consumer climate in several regions.

The canned vegetable specialist explains that the positive impact of the acquisition of Del Monte (+1.2%) and the net impact of foreign exchange (+0.3%) was totally offset by the decline in its fresh business in the US.

In Q4, the group posted sales of 694.9 million euros, up 1.7% as reported and down 2% like-for-like.

In a statement, Bonduelle confirms that it expects stable operating profitability at constant exchange rates for FY 2018-19.
