Bonduelle: agreement for acquisition of plant in US

(CercleFinance.com) - Bonduelle announces that it has reached a definitive agreement with the US company Seneca to acquire its plant in Lebanon, in the US state of Pennsylvania, following negotiations initiated last month.


This plant, which packages frozen products, has a capacity of 45,000 tons on seven packaging lines in perfect working order, with a large storage capacity, and has 140 permanent employees.

In addition to revenue generating capacity, this acquisition will enable synergies to be generated with existing tools and will offer a better service. Effective as of 11 February, it will have an accretive impact from FY 2019-20.
