Atos: supports ESA's Vega-C rocket

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced that it is supporting the European Space Agency (ESA) in the program to upgrade Vega-C, its new unibody launcher, which was first launched on 13 July 2022.


Atos is contributing to this program by providing key test equipment for the main launcher and is also providing test equipment for the reusable spacecraft.

Vega-C is a new generation rocket. More powerful and flexible than its predecessors, it has a greater capacity to carry satellites and nano-satellites.

Atos employees are responsible for implementing the electrical ground support equipment that supports the integration and validation of various Space Rider subsystems.

The Atos stock is far from stratospheric today, though - it is down about 2% this lunchtime.
