Sopra Steria: sells recruitment business in the UK

(CercleFinance.com) - Sopra Steria announces an agreement with Resource Solutions Group for the sale of 100% of its recruitment subsidiary in the UK, which could be finalised in the coming weeks.


Having entered the group's consolidation scope when Steria acquired Xansa in 2007, in 2018 this business contributed 129 million euros to Sopra Steria's sales in 2018 and about two million euros to its net income.

"The Group's strategic priorities in the United Kingdom are now focused on scaling up its digital and consulting offering, and on strengthening its foothold in the private sector, particularly in financial services," the group says.
