Nexans: signs a 2-year contract with the RATP

(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans has signed a two-year contract with the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), the public transport authority for Paris and its suburbs.


The contract covers the supply of specialised rail cables and logistics services to improve fire safety, reliability and performance of the city's metro and tramway networks.

In all, the contract involves the installation of around 4,800 km of Nexans cables in tunnels and on board rolling stock in the Ile-de-France region, under the Grand Paris Express project.

Under this contract, Nexans will supply RATP with all the cables for the Parisian network infrastructure.
