Altran: launches 750 million euro capital increase

(CercleFinance.com) - Today Altran announces the launch of a capital increase around 750 million euros, maintaining the preferential subscription rights for existing shareholders.


The capital increase will result in the issue of 81,220,840 new shares for a total of 749,668,353.20 euros, included an issue premium, representing 46.2% of the company's share capital. Shares will be issued at a subscription price of 9.23 euros (including 0.50 euro nominal and an issue premium of 8.73 euros).

The net proceeds from the capital increase will be exclusively assigned to the repayment of the entire bridge loan in the amount of 250 million euros (Bridge Facility) and a portion of the loan term (Term Loan B) for a total of 2,125 million euros contracted in February 2018 by the company for the acquisition of Aricent.

The acquisition of Aricent, which was finalised on 20 March 2018, will enable Altran to become the world leader in engineering and R&D services.
