Air France-KLM: orders new planes from Airbus
(CercleFinance.com) - In order to improve its economic and environmental performance by renewing its fleet, Air France-KLM announces that its Board of Directors has approved a firm order of four Airbus A350F freighters for KLM subsidiary Martinair.
They will replace the four Boeing 747Fs currently operated by KLM Cargo and Martinair, and will be added to the four other Airbus A350F freighters ordered in December 2021 for Air France. These deliveries are expected to start in H2 2026.
The Board also decided on a firm order of three additional Airbus A350-900 passenger aircraft for Air France, which will replace previous generation aircraft and are expected to be delivered in 2024.
