Air France-KLM: launches capital increase

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced the launch of a capital increase with preferential subscription rights to raise a gross total of nearly 2.
26 billion euros through the issue of 1.93 million new shares, to be subscribed in cash and/or by offsetting receivables.

This operation, which aims to strengthen the airline's equity and balance sheet, comes after the 2021 capital increase and follows the announcement of new recapitalisation measures on 17 February.

The price has been set at 1.17 euro per new share, with the subscription period running from 27 May to 9 June inclusive. Subscription commitments represent 15.96% of the total amount (excluding subscription intentions from the French and Dutch governments).
