Air France: orders ten more A350-900 planes

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has decided to replace Air France's Airbus A380s and has approved an order of 10 A350-900 planes.

This order will thus bring the number of A350s to 38, three of which have already been delivered.

In 2023, Air France's long-haul fleet will include 116 planes of four different families: Airbus A330 and A350, along with Boeing 777 and 787.

Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France, said "The first results observed from Air France's operation of the Airbus A350 are excellent in every way - customer satisfaction, operational performance, and a reduced environmental footprint. With an investment of over one billion euros per year, our fleet modernization is our main lever for meeting our objective to reduce our CO2 emissions by 50% per passenger/km by 2030."
