Nokia: 5G Tech Lab innovation project in Sydney

(CercleFinance.com) - Finland's Nokia has announced a five-year partnership with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to build and manage a state-of-the-art 5G innovation facility on the university's Tech Lab campus in Australia.


This lab will enable the Finnish telecom equipment manufacturer, the UTS and their partners to test new 5G use cases with real-world applications, including Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things and Smart Cities.

While providing a live 5G testbed for business partners, it will also serve as an environment for new ICT research opportunities. This will represent a multi-year, multi-million dollar investment for Nokia.
