Nokia: State of Finland takes 3.3% stake

(CercleFinance.com) - Solidium, the investment arm of the State of Finland, has taken a 3.
3% stake in Nokia for approximately 844 million euros after selling its stake in Nordic telecoms group Telia earlier this year.

The holding company said that these Nokia shares were bought on the market at the beginning of the year. Its stake now represents about 11% of its equity investments, which total 8.4 billion euros.

Solidium, which calls Nokia a "very important company" nationally, said the investment fits perfectly into its portfolio.

Solidium owns minority interests in twelve other listed companies, such as Metso, Outokumpu, Stora Enso, andTieto Corporation.
