Nokia: 5-year managed services deal with Australia's Optus

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has won a five-year deal to manage the operation of Optus network infrastructure, the Finnish telecoms gear maker said on Tuesday.


The agreement means that Nokia will maintain the key components of the Australian telecoms provider's network, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SingTel, the firm said.

Nokia will also take over the field maintenance of Optus' mobile network, it added.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
