Siemens Gamesa: wins turbine deal for Norway wind farm
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has been picked to supply wind turbines for one of Norway's largest wind parks, the Spanish-based company said on Friday.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) will supply the Tonstad Wind Farm with 51 of its SWT-DD-142 onshore wind turbines, it said, with installation set to begin in 2019.
The wind farm - which will have one of the largest capacities in Norway - is being developed by France's Engie, with 208 MW installed.
Siemens Gamesa also secured a full service agreement.
