Siemens Gamesa: wins Spanish wind power order

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has won an order to supply 22 turbines to Spain's Gas Natural Fenosa for two wind farm projects, Siemens' wind power division announced on Wednesday.


The turbines, which have a combined capacity of 64 MW, are to be manufactured in Navarra (blades) and Soria (nacelles).

They are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2018, while the facilities are slated for commissioning towards the end of next year.

Siemens Gamesa did not provide any financial details of the transaction.
