Commerzbank: CFO to leave for Danske Bank
(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank said on Thursday that its CFO will leave for Denmark's Danske Bank next year, after serving for more than seven years in his post.
The German lender said in a statement that Stephan Engels has committed to fulfill his contract, which runs until April 2020, but that he has declined a potential offer to extend it.
He started as CFO in April 2012, joining from Daimer's Mercedes-Benz.
Danske Bank said Stephan Engels is expected to take up the role as its CFO as soon as April 2020.
