Linde: shares bounce back after raised dividend
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde shares have bounced back on Tuesday, the day after the industrial gases and engineering company said it would increase its quarterly dividend by 10% to 0.
963 dollar per share.
The UK-based company said that its dividend is payable on 20 March to shareholders on record on 6 March.
"Linde is committed to increasing its dividends annually," the group's chief executive officer Steve Angel said in a statement.
The shares were up 0.2% at 194.3 euros on Tuesday morning on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange after dropping by 4% yesterday following the spread of the Coronavirus in Europe.
