Allianz: new share buyback program

(CercleFinance.com) - The Allianz stock is up 1.
2% this morning, outperforming the Frankfurt's DAX (+0.6%), the day after the insurance company announced a new share buyback program, for up to one billion euros.

In its terse statement, the German group said that this program is set to start on 4 July to end on 30 September, and that all shares bought back through it are intended to be cancelled.
