Dufry: Holzer Neumann won't stand for re-election

(CercleFinance.com) - Andrés Holzer Neumann has decided not to stand for re-election to Dufry's board at the company's annual meeting on 18 May, due to other commitments, the Swiss travel retailer said on Monday.

Considered as one of the early investors and founders of the "new" Dufry, Holzer Neumann has been a member of Dufry's board for the past 17 years.

To replace him, Dufry said it will propose that its shareholders elect Mary Steele Guilfoile - a previous JPMorgan executive, who currently serves as an independent and non-executive member on the board of its NYSE-listed subsidiary, Hudson.

With this change, close to 80% of the group's board members will be independent, and 45% will be female, it said.
