Holcim: partnership with Habitat for Humanity

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss building materials supplier Holcim has announced a partnership with the NGO Habitat for Humanity to accelerate access to affordable housing through an innovative digital platform.


Together, they are rolling out an online affordable housing portal to enable low-income families to access financing as well as building materials and solutions in a secure and transparent way.

The first project has been deployed in Mexico, enabling the affordable renovation of 600 homes in the regions of Bajio and Veracruz. Holcim and Habitat for Humanity are planning further collaboration across the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
