Holcim: acquisition in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Holcim announced its acquisition of Heinrich Teufel, a German specialist in aggregate and ready-mix concrete, while not disclosing the terms of the deal.


The Swiss cement company simply said that the transaction will enable it to strengthen its position in southern Germany and enhance its expertise in the field of the circular economy.

Heinrich Teufel - which employs 160 people at its Strassberg site - will continue to operate under its own brand name for the time being.
