LafargeHolcim: two bolt-on acquisitions in Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim announces the acquisitions of Edile Commerciale and Cemex Rhone Alpes, both suppliers of ready-mixed concrete and aggregates.


The companies are located in two of Europe's largest cities, Milan, Italy and Lyon, France.

"With 35 ready-mix concrete plants, these operations strengthen LafargeHolcim's position in two of the most dynamic and attractive areas in Europe," the group said.

LafargeHolcim has made another eight acquisitions in 2020 in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and Switzerland. The company anticipates further improvements in 2021, accelerated by the development of its Solutions & Products segment.
