Clariant: SABIC becomes largest strategic shareholder
(CercleFinance.com) - Saudi diversified chemicals group SABIC has become the largest strategic shareholder of Switzerland's Clariant after receiving regulatory approvals for it to take a 24.
99% stake in the company. The purchase will be closed in the next few days, the Swiss chemicals firm said in a statement. SABIC entered into a purchase agreement regarding the acquisition of the stake in Clariant in January 2018.
