Novartis: core EPS up 17% in 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - The Swiss healthcare giant Novartis has published 2019 EPS of 5.
28 dollars, up 17% at constant currencies (cc), and will offer a dividend of 2.95 Swiss francs per share, up 4%.

Also at constant exchange rates, at 14.1 billion dollars, operating profit rose by 12%, for net sales from continuing operations of over 47.4 billion dollars, up 9%, driven by its pharmaceutical division.

For 2020, Novartis announces, "Net sales expected to grow mid to high-single digit (cc); core operating income expected to grow high-single to low double digit (cc)".
