AB InBev: cuts dividend in half, postpones AGM
(CercleFinance.com) - Anheuser-Busch InBev said on Tuesday that it will reduce its 2019 dividend payment given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The world's largest brewer, with brands such as Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois, is revising its proposal to pay a final annual dividend of one euro per share to a payout of 0.50 euro per share, it said.
AB InBev is also rescheduling its ordinary and extraordinary shareholders' meeting, which was originally scheduled for 29 April, to 3 June.
Its shares are currently up 1.1% on Euronext Brussels.
