Ackermans: stock down after H1 results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Ackermans & van Haaren share is down over 1% in Brussels on Friday afternoon, after the investment company published a H1 2020 net profit of 56.
3 million euros, compared to 104 million euros (excluding capital gains of 108.9 million euros) a year ago.
"Naturally, the consolidated half-year result of the AvH group suffered as a result of the lockdown measures during the COVID-19 crisis and the volatility on the stock markets," said company boss, Jan Suykens.
Expecting a significant improvement in results in the second half, with solid FY consolidated net income, its Board of Directors will propose to an extraordinary AGM the distribution of a dividend of 2.32 euros per share in Q4 2020.
