Gimv: buys majority stake in Germany's Köberl Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment company Gimv said on Friday that it has taken a majority stake in Germany's Köberl Group, an expert in facility management and technical building services.


Köberl Group owns GEMA and Fink, two firms positionned on the growing market of facility management and technical building services, Gimv said.

"These themes perfectly fit with our investment thesis on growing sustainability, most notably in the infrastructure, environment and logistics sectors," Gimv pointed out.

It gave no financial details of the transaction.

Antwerp-based Gimv mainly invests in unlisted companies in four main sectors - connected consumer, healthcare, smart industries and sustainable cities.
