Solvay: EBITDA margin improves in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay has reported underlying net profit of 273 million euros for Q3 2021, i.
e. up 55% y-o-y, with an EBITDA margin of 23.3%, or 0.8 point more than a year ago.

At 2.57 billion euros, Belgian chemist's revenues grew by 25% organically y-o-y, reflecting continued strong demand in most of its markets, particularly with record sales in Specialty Polymers.

The group is maintaining its FY estimate of underlying EBITDA at between 2.2 and 2.3 billion euros, despite expecting energy prices that will remain high in Q4 2021. The group has raised its estimate for free cash flow to around 800 million euros.
